I have always enjoyed athletics and had a desire for both sports and competition. However, after high school the opportunities to participate in sports diminished. In college I started working out and lifting weights to fulfill my athletic goals. However, I never quite had a workout plan that worked. Finding CrossFit while studying at Towson University, I immediately connected to the ideals and intensity that CrossFit offered. The enjoyment of working out with friends and family is what convinced me to join my first CrossFit gym in 2011. The camaraderie, positive attitude and overall strength of the community was a driving force to keep coming back. Within the first three months of joining, I was working my way to become a coach. I have been coaching for 3 years and am very passionate about functional movement. I am constantly striving to help my clients reach the full benefits CrossFit has to offer, by working on mobility, focusing on technique and correct movement paths.
