Congrats to our September Athlete of the Month, Ann Warfield!
Ann has been with us since January and has been such a wonderful part of our community! She is always challenging herself, whether it be strict pull-ups, handstand pushups, or Olympic lifting. Ann is not only a regular in our WODs but can be seen on Sunday mornings in Yoga or Wednesday nights in our mobility class. The energy, positive attitude, and enthusiasm Ann brings to True Core is like none other! Congrats Ann! Very well deserved!
1.How did you get started in CrossFit?
I Saw a piece on the news about the Crossfit program and thought it would be really cool if I could learn to do that too.
2.What brought you into True Core?
I had a minor running injury and rapidly became a couch potato, depressed and desperate I saw a small sign for True Core Crossfit and followed the light.
3.What do you feel your best accomplishment is since joining True Core?
Head Stand Push-ups (now my best money making bar trick) and the rope climb.
4.What goals are you still working on achieving?
Short term goal is to bench press my weight (20lbs to go); Long term goal is to do a work out Rx
5.What do you like best about being part of the True Core Community?
I am always in a better mood after I have worked out with you guys.
